George Mullins transport is represented at Sales in Ireland, UK and France all year round. We specialise in transporting bloodstock to and from all major sales and racing venues. Great care is ensured when moving mares, sometimes with foal at foot, to and from Studs across Europe during the breeding season.
We provide a service to all sectors of the Equine Industry, and aim to provide a prompt service at very competitive prices while putting the horses needs first. For those who wish to transport their own horses, ie showjumpers, we provide a service to assist with paperwork and can provide competitive ferry rates available all year round.
For those transporting through George Mullins we provide:
Overnight stabling available at George Mullins yard if required before transport outward bound or upon return being located in close proximity to both Dublin and Rosslare ports
All export and import documents
Regular transport to and from Ireland, UK and Continent
Highly experienced and courteous drivers and grooms ensure the horses are watered at regular intervals throughout the journey
Drivers who hold Certificate of Competence in Equine Transport
Vehicles which have Department of Agriculture Approval Certificates
Expert loading with lowered air suspension to make this job easier
Lorries with non-slip floors and fully adjustable partitioning to allow extra space for the larger animal.
Constant monitoring throughout the journey using on-board CCTV
Air Conditioning and Temperature Monitoring
24hr Satellite vehicle tracking and instant messaging
Shared and individual loads
Use of a well established network of stables throughout Europe while horses are in transit and all horses are stabled en route to the continent where they are hayed and watered ad lib whilst stabled
We offer a more extensive worldwide coverage by working in conjunction with select fellow transporters, so please don't hesitate to contact us for more details.
We reserve the right to discontinue or refuse to load the horse if posing a risk to him/herself or to the drivers of the horsebox. The owner is still liable for costs incurred.
